About us
Acorn Lodge is a small, friendly and comfortable family-run hotel.
We recommend the Acorn Lodge for:
- Comfort - all rooms are clean and comfortable with springy beds and large, double-glazed windows for sunshine in the day and peace at night.
- Convenience - the Acorn Lodge is just five minutes from Gatwick’s terminals and there’s a dedicated shuttle-bus that's easier and cheaper than queuing for a regular bus or booking a taxi.
Getting to the airport
The Acorn Lodge is a 5-minute drive from the airport in good traffic.
A taxi to the airport takes around 5 minutes and costs £13-£15.
Driving instructions and a postcode for satnavs will be on your booking confirmation if you need them.
Parking
The hotel has limited overnight residents parking which can be pre-booked from £10.
This package doesn't include parking while you're away. If you need parking while you're away take a look at one of our parking packages.
Rooms
Guests tell us the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Some rooms have showers and some have baths, so we recommend asking at reception if you have a preference. Wifi access is free for all guests and available in the public areas and most rooms. There are twin, double and family rooms (with children’s bunk beds) available.
Best of all, you can combine your stay with secured parking at the rear of the building.

There's free unlimited wifi in public areas at the hotel. Guests say it's fast and reliable, ideal for streaming your favourite shows.
Accessibility
The hotel does not have a lift and the staircases are fairly steep, so ask at reception for a ground floor room if you need it. Unfortunately the hotel does not yet have any accessible rooms, so we recommend checking one of our other hotels if you require easier accessibility.
